SCHWENK Latvija

SCHWENK Latvia is the only cement producer and a leading producer of building materials in Latvia, offering its customers high quality cement, aggregates, ready-mix and concrete pavement solutions. We are part of the SCHWENK Building Materials Group, headquartered in Ulm, Germany.

SCHWENK Latvia employs more than 360 people and provides work for more than 650 contractor employees.

Continuing the cement making traditions in Latvia with pride and responsibility, in 2019 SCHWENK became the owner of the only cement plant in Latvia. It’s capacity – up to 1.6 million tons of cement per year. Around 70% of the cement produced in Brocēni is exported to Estonia, Sweden and Finland.

The Brocēni cement plant is one of the most modern cement plants in Europe. It operates a fully closed production process with continuous monitoring and control and is equipped with the latest technologies and innovative solutions.
